Since 2005, the Friends of the Rochester Public Market has sponsored Artist Row, a community arts festival at the Rochester Public Market. In an effort to remove barriers to participation, Artist Row strives to provide a juried show for local artists which is both affordable to participants and free to the public. Like the Rochester Public Market, Artist Row serves as a crossroads for the greater Rochester community bringing together people from all over our region for a celebration of art, music, play, and food. Through the years, the event has featured some of the biggest names in local arts and some individuals showing for the very first time. Artist Row remains proud to be a forum for exceptional work by established artist and artisans, as well as a launching pad for emerging artists.

Artist Row is made possible by the Friends of the Rochester Public Market, a 501 c 3 not-for profit organization.

Admission and parking is FREE!

Artist Row is planned each year by a dedicated group of volunteers from the Friends of the Rochester Public Market. The show also receives generous local sponsorship, as well as additional support from the City of Rochester. All show proceeds go to support programs run by the Friends including the SNAP EBT program, market tours, and other Friend’s programs!
